Hi - how on earth do I get red nail varnish off of a green carpet! My 2 yr old DS tipped a bottle of it on carpet while I was downstairs today! I bought a stain remover for makeup but it says I can't use on carpet! OMG my DH is mad that I left it out.....Help!

Arm yourself with a toothbruch, kitchen paper, hairspray and nail polish remover. pour a bit of nail polish remover on to the stain and rub with the toothbrush, keep rubbing it and spray a bit of hairspray on it, blot with kitchen paper, repeat as necessary.

This was the only way I could get blue nail polish out of my cream carpet after DD1 decided to paint her toenails. Leaves you a little lightheaded, but does the trick.
