my son's mattress smells of wee!

how on earth do I clean a mattress?

We haven't used bed protectors (stupid mistake!)...he still wets the bed (maybe twice a week).

I feel like his entire bedroom smells of wee!

you need enzymes to break down the pee. You could try bio washing powder mixed with water or buy a spray designed to deal with urine e.g. places that hire out rug doctor machines often sell sprays to deal with stains/spills, etc - they do one with enzymes in to deal with urine too

I wouldn't be able to help myself - I'd just give it a really scrub and then stick it on a radiator. Shame we're not having a heat-wave at the moment - you could have stuck it out in the sun. Best not wait that long though!!!

Then I'd get some protectors. I have these bed protectors for my sons. They've been great and have certainly lastest the course, my eldest is almost 8!!

I'd have to get a new one I'm afraid! Get 2 mattress protectors so you can wash them easily.
