One window looking on to south facing garden - what colour kitchen ?

It gets quite dark at certain times of the day, I currently have duck egg blue walls which I really like but apparently the room isn't warm and welcoming :(
I have a fair bit of Emma Bridgewater toast stuff which is very neutral and the blind was going to be laura ashley mitford check (if anyone knows it), could be something else though.

Well if you like the duck egg blue walls, then keep them, and bollocks to other people's views.

Warm and welcoming is a person's attitude, not a kitchen wall.

I should have mentioned it's going on the market in three weeks so whilst I do agree with you, am worried it looks cold, a few magazines mention that.
