Preparing for moth extermination - some questions...

We've got the sprayers coming in this week to get rid of moths (hopefully) and I'm just in the process of washing and bagging up all our woollies, emptying wardrobes etc.

Just wondering what to do about cuddly toys. Already found one with a larvae on it. Also, do I need to wash our sheets and towels as well or am i ok as cotton not the first choice of moths.

Any other advice from anyone who's gone through this would be welcome. Thanks!

My housekeeping book (yes I am THAT sad) says to launder soft toys at 30 degrees but I've washed things at 60 to get rid of dust mites and they've not shrunk.

Probably safer to put them in a delicates bag or pillowcase to be on the safe side.

I'd do the sheets and towels purely because it's sods law that if you don't you'll find some have survived in them.

i've just found eggs at the bottom of all dd's clothes drawers - even the one that just had cotton undies. Sad

You can freeze items to kill them.
