tupperware ad plastic container hell

I have a cupboard that is full with useful tupperware syle boxes and tubs with lids.

No matter how hard I try to match bix and lid and keep it all v neat, it never lasts.

Does anyone else have this problem? Found a way resolve it? I am sick of needing a tub and lid and finding a tub but then not the lid and vice versa.

Of course I blame other members of the family for assisting emptying the dishwasher and just chucking the items into the hell hole.

Please share with me you neat cupboard techniques and secrets.

Cleared out cupboards, threw away stuff that didn't have a match-enforced due to flood.
Got a big tin from a panetone at xmas, put all the small stuff in there-a box to store boxes.........!
For small boxes I buy a couple the same each time, which means there is usually one matching set when I need it!

i have the same prob as op, millions of random plastic bits and bobs chucked in a cupboard,

when i had my hb mw asked for a margerine tub....

Yep, there is no way of resolving this.

I do keep two metal drawers that stand on a shelf unit in utility room.

Try try to keep on for large and now for small but after a few weeks its a mess again.
