That's it really. Is there anything I can do to clean it? It looks like lots of black spots of different sizes.

TIA for any ideas on what to do.

Take the whole drawer out.

Put it in the sink.

Soak it in really hot water and washing up liquid.

Scrub with an old toothbrush.

Put in the dishwasher

Or soak in the sink with some soda crystals

Most washing machine fabric conditioner drawers can be removed and then just given a good clean. Hope yours can too. x

What Jajas said. Put it in the dishwasher on a hot wash, then spray it with some limescale remover (Viakal) if it isn't sparkling.

Thanks everyone. Embarassingly I didn't know you could take the drawer out, hence my confusion over how to properly clean it!

supadupa- soak it in milton fluid (1 cap to 1l water I think)- that can get black mould off plastic.

I often had to take my drawer out to clean it then realised if you look up inside the machine though where all the little holes are they are full of black stuff too and even if you scrub it with a bleach soaked scrubbing brush (and cut your hand in the process on all the sshitty sticky outy bits) they still do not come off!

The best way is to stop using fabric conditioner.

i use www.dr-beckmann.co.uk/products/laundry-products/service-it-washing-machine-cleaner/ and it works quite well, I haven't caught the mould round the door seal in time (grrr) but I will do next time I buy a machine.

hope it helps xx

Take the drawer out and clean but also clean the drawer space out as well. Its usually full up with enough sodden soap powder to do a couple of laods with
