the whole house needs a general clean (windows, dusting, hoovering, mopping and bathrooms) or my room is in chaos (only room in the house which is not tidy) and needs a total dung out.

what to do?

take 15 mins each day to clean a rooom. Its amazing the difference it makes.

i mean just for today. i will either do the whole house quick spritz today or do my entire room today and do teh rest of the house during the week. can't decide which i want to do. i am daft. i shoudl just start doing something.

I'd do your bedroom, you'll feel much better afterwards... It's nice going to bed in a lovely, clean and shiney bedroom.

yes i think you are right guacamole. I'll do the room and then work round the rest of the house during the week.

I do one big tidy a week which takes 4 hours then once a year I do a 3 month stint of deep cleaning each room (1 a week - I include hallway as a room). I just do one day on each room and go all out (cleaning every inch of the room, sorting out cupboards and drawers etc).

that is what i should be doing nikki and that is the plan but i have been slacking for about 2 years now (depression) so everything is far dirtier and more cluttered than a normal house. I'm sort of starting from scratch and have every room tidied apart from mine now so i suppose it makes sense to do my room before i start on teh routine cleaning of teh house.
