what's your routine? before 9mo ds i used to have one day where i did a thorough clean, sometimes did it twice a week. then every day i would do a top up clean putting things back in their places etc etc. now i struggle to get anything done. ds gets bored which leaves me not enough time to complete even one room.

You keep baby wipes handy and use them to clean everything! They are my best cleaning product, by far. Will do anything from the toilet to the carpet.

Im same with 9mth old DD2 she just crawls round after me or starts playing with something shes not supposed to have lol. I found if i got one room spotless i could put the safety gate up and leave her there while i clean rest of the house, didnt last long as now she screams the place down!

Now I hae set days for doing big jobs its the only way i can do it, gone are the days when i can do a big clean of everything in the house all day. Its a bit at a time. With 3 DCs my house is never really tydy but its clean lol

i've tried doing different rooms on different days but i can't even finish one room w/o ds getting bored and frustrated and wanting me! do i do half a room at different times?? i really want a tidy house again, even semi tidy would be nice Smile

my house is always a mess, i just cant keep it clean! I was up at 630am today with dd2, put a load of washing on, unloaded and reloaded dishwasher, tidied kitchen and hoovered.

The house is still a mess in fact by this time every day its an absolute tip (i have a 9yr old,4 yr old and 15mth old).

Whether i spend all day tidying or just leave it by the end of the day it always looks the same! I think i am just constantly playing catch up when it comes to the housework!

Its difficult but sometimes i just have to leave her to cry while i get stuff done, not for long but otherwise id never get anything done
