Just washed my ds's coat (down filled puffa jacket from gap, this season) in the washing machine after he was sick all over it. It seems to have gone very flat...its not quite dry yet though...any tips on how i can get it puffy again?????

I wash ours then put in tumble drier with drier balls, tennis balls, slippers or other hard objects to beat the feathers loose as it turns, works perfectly.

Fab but we havent got a tumble dryer...do think it'd work if i took it to a friends tomorrow..even if the feathers have dried a bit?

I tumble dry ours for 10 min then leave to dry o/n then tumble again when dry and it comes out as new. So yes I would do it tomorrow.

do you have a laundrette nearby? their dryers are a lot bigger than the home ones.
