Haha i used to be the same before DP told me to sort myself out cos hed had enough Confused

It all started when i gave up work after DD1 was born to be a SAHM to new baby and DS i got rid of the cleaner (my mum) to do it myself. Id never been at home all day and i didnt know what to do or where to start, i also couldnt be bothered with cleaning and would find other stuff to do to fill the day. I had 2 DCs at this point and used to just blame the kids for it being messy lol. I soon became bored with a messy house dp getting pissed off didnt help so i got into a routine shortly after DD2 was born. With 3 DCs i really had to try sort it out lol.

I find the best thing for me is to write a planner. Have set days for set jobs then i dont fall behind and tick them off as i go. Some are daily, some weekly, some monthly and some 6 monthly all of which are written on my planner. Once you get into it you find that most jobs dont take that long they just seemed to take long when you moaned about them or started doing too much at once.

I now love cleaning and i wont let anyone else help cos it has to be 'right' and as long as i have my list im happy Grin

Getting a routine is working for me too - DH doesn't understand what's happened, he always used to be the clean & tidy one!
