DP thought he was being really helpful and put some rice pudding to do in the slow cooker. Unfortunatly the silly twat billy forgot to stir it and put it on too high and it all burnt onto the sides!

Ive soaked it two nights in a row with normal washing up liquid and scrubed it with a nylon scourer but theres still lots of burnt stuff stuck on one side. Any ideas on how i can get it off without scratching or damaging it?

Thanks eeryone

Try filling it with boiling water and switching it on for a few hours. I did this with a chilli once and that worked for me.

Hope it's ok, I love my Crockpot!

Washing soda & warm water overnight.

it's about 99p for a bag - nb it is NOT caustic soda, you find this stuff near the washing opwders & cleaning stuff
