After 15 years our old Zanussi washing machine gave up, so we replaced it with an LG Direct Drive one. The direct drive is supposed to make it really quiet and smooth .... but most times it shakes like mad and moves around - it lives in a cupboard, and it can actually move enough to open the door and get half way out! I'm worried that it will pull the water pipes out and flood the place.
The LG support line says there's nothing wrong with it and it's all down to the way it's being loaded, but the we're doing exactly the same as we did with the old machine and it was fine. The new one is perfectly level and balanced, and sometimes it's ok but most times it's absolutely crazy!
Anyone else have a similar problem with a machine? Is it broken? LG says there's nothing wrong with it because if you run it without clothes in it's fine. If they send out an engineer and it's no fault found then they'll charge for the callout.
