Long-time reader, and (pretty much) first time poster. Just wondered if anyone else gets this, or if I'm an irredeemable oddball.

When I clean the house... particularly bathroom and kitchen... I often get conniptions about using them. Yes, ok, I'm an oddball. I'd just like a little reassurance. Am I the only one that tenses up about someone - especially my two bundles of joy - walking straight into the bathroom and, not to put too fine a point on it, leaving their lovely little territorial marks on my nice clean porcelain?

Short of hosing them down in the garage and shifting back to potties, I know there's not really a solution for this. Be nice to know I'm not having a psychotic epsisode though.

Conniptions? Predictive text?
I cleaned my bathroom this morning and was most put out (silently) when ds used the loo on his return from school. It was so nice and clean dammit!

I've just had to look up conniptions... Apparently it's a fit of violent emotion such as anger or panic... You learn something new everyday!

OOh I love conniptions, it is my new favourite word.
Yes I too have them after a bout of cleaning.

CeliaFate · 17/02/2011 17:47

Ooh it's a real word? Excellent! I'm going to use it as often as possible.

BooyFuckingHoo · 17/02/2011 17:50
