Made of a canvas material, thick canvas strap and bronzey strap holdy bits :o

It's looking VERY grubby!

Can I put it in the washing machine or will it wreck it?

TIA

does it have a label or anything in it? i know that's stating the obvious but you never know lol

i think i would try and just sponge clean it if i were you, just in case.

Ooh! it does!

It says

100% Cotton
Wash Separately

Reshape whilst damp
Place handles in bag before washing
Iron on reverse

and has
a bowl of water with 40 inside
Square with a circle in with a big cross through
iron with 2 dots
circle and triangle both with big cross through

I have no idea what they mean!!

Domestic goddess I am not!

It has a dark blue lining also

I too have a bag. It's got no washing instructions and it's yucky (DD apple slices forgotten about in the bottom) and smelly. It's a faux leather bag with a polyester lining, so I'm probably going to scrub it a big in the sink. Think it'll be okay?

Good luck OP. Hope our bags get through this. Grin

The bowl of water with 4o - means it can be washed at 40 degrees or less

Square with circle is a tumbledryer - cross means it can't be tumble dried.

Can be ironed on number 2 heat setting or less.

You could handwash it first and if it is still grubby then spray worst bits with precleaner and put on a 30 or 40 wash. Or you could put it in the handwash or woollen wash in your machine which is more gentle than a normal wash.Putting it in a pillowcase will also help protect the buckles.

Most cotton bags I have washed have come up well in the washing machine but NOT if they have any cardboard/firm base in the bottom.

yep, you can machine wash at 40

no tumble drying

iron medium

do not bleach, do not dry clean
