Can anyone help me find a shoe rack

I am looking for a thin shoe rack to fint in my porch. Ideally it would either be a vertical one taking just one pair of shoes on each shelf, or one that is two pairs wide. I only want to store 4 - 6 pairs of shoes.

No of the racks I have been able to find will work in the rather small space I have to use.

We had same problem, but it was easy to make one.

Is it in the garage? Under the bad?

BaroqueAroundTheClock · 11/02/2011 23:42

closest I can find is \link{http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/8753043/c_1/1%7Ccategory_root%7CHome+and+furniture%7C14417894/c_2/2%7C14417894%7CStorage+and+shelving%7C14417975/c_3/3%7Ccat_14417975%7CShoe+storage%7C14417996.htm\this one} (can be used one on top the other or side by side} - I guess you could just use one and ermm, ermm, ermm, do something with the spare one?

LoopyLoopsPoopaScoop · 11/02/2011 23:44

Ah! Problem solved then!

Thanks Baroque, that looks like it might be exactly what I need.

For some reason I can't open that link. Can someone tell me where on the argos site I can find it? (item number or cost or something will help me locate it) Thanks

KangarooCaught · 12/02/2011 13:01

we have a shoe bench in the hall - shoes go inside, sit down on it to put them on

BaroqueAroundTheClock · 12/02/2011 15:06

sweetandtender - if you search for "shoe storage" on the argos website it should come up.

I have the longer 2 shelf version of that one - and while it would never win any prizes for looks or quality - I've had it about 3 1/2yrs now and it's still going very strong - so does the job

KangarooCaught · 12/02/2011 16:38

Ikea also a good port of call

I got this - I have half in the cupboard under the stairs for us to put our shoes in & the other half in my wardrobe to put bags in!

Search amazon for "shoe storage" they've got a few different ones so you should be able to find something that will fit.

WhenDoISleep · 14/02/2011 12:29

bessie - is that rack quite sturdy?

Yep, it's fairly tough plastic and clips together securely. I've got mine in a tall 2x4 block under the stairs & have no worries about it falling over or collapsing.
