Hi my two year old has scribbled blue biro all over the sofa (cream leather)...sob

So far I have tried washing up liquid and a sponge and it's not shifted it at all

Happy to try anything to get rid it's all over it and not confined to an area where a cushion could hide it Sad

Baby wipes, and hide the pens.

Baby wipes - cleans everything !

SilveryMoon · 09/02/2011 19:09

I'd try cream cleaner. Is great on my sofas

If the baby wipes don't work there is a product called "de solv-it" on sale in the laundry aisle in most supermarkets that may help here. I have used it to get crayon off the walls and wooden furniture.

I seem to remember that there was a similar thread a few months ago and someone said to put hairspray on it. I'm not quite sure though as I only read the thread in passing. Try a search and see if you could find what was said.

Best of luck ...

I used Cif on a scourer sponge, got it off.

earwicga · 10/02/2011 08:45

Jif, or whatever it's called now.

unpsychicsally · 10/02/2011 09:04

That's the one.

tinkerbug · 10/02/2011 22:02

Might be a bit drastic if a large area, but nail varnish remover got blue biro off my white leather belt...

Desolv it us also known as stain slayer.
