Has anyone recently bought a cheapish (under £150)set of 5 drawers with good deep space. My DD has an expensive wooden set that are only 5 years old but have needed to be repaired a lot - drawer just broken again and would like to get her some new ones that are deeperMy other kids have IKea Malm which are great - but we have moved and no longer near Ikea nad they don't deliver Malm online. Have tried gumtree etc no luck. Would buy from Argos, Sainsbury etc but the details never tell you how dep the drawers are and have been disappointed in the past.

Any thoughts gratefully received.

My friend has Ikea Hemnes for her DS - quite a good size, very sturdy and right price range. They do deliver - but its 15 pounds, although seeing as the 3 drawer one is just over 100 its still not a bad price.

I was looking for a white chest for ages recently too. I ended up buying a cheapy from John Lewis basic range (only 70 pounds) and then painting it (time will tell if that was a good idea or not?!). But I found quite a good variety at Littlewoods online surprisingly enough. Next had some nice ones for DD but think it was around the 199 pounds (sorry pound key doesn't work on my 'puter). Found another one on Ebay that was 100 pounds that was an ex-M+S chest of drawers. If you type in 'Stone' and 'drawers' it'd probably come up if its still available. I didn't get it as it has wooden runners and I wanted metal, but the feedback looked like people were happy with them and they looked a good size.
