Storage like this but cheaper?

I wonder if you clever people can help?

After a new diagnosis, I need to store a lot of medicines and medical equipment, including different size syringes, water for injection etc etc. At the moment cardboard boxes full of stuff are just overwhelming me, and I'd really like to get it organised and more out of the way. Eventually I hope to put it to a much nicer use!

I'm after something like this I think, as then I will immediately be able to see what I've got and shouldn't risk running out of anything. I'm not really sure what sizes are needed, but if I bought one of each of these from Lakeland, just to experiment with size, it would be £50!!

Hi Oxcat

When my eldest was very poorly and on a lot of medications I used a couple of tool boxes (new of course!) to store all the meds/syringes/needles/dressings etc in. It's probably not so easy to quickly view what you have but I found it really useful and had a couple of different sizes. The tops of the ones I had had plastic openings that were probably for screws/fixings or similar but I used those bits for different size needles and adhesive dressings etc. Good luck - with both the new diagnosis and the equipment for the meds! xxx

something like this?

Thank you so much, both of you. I shall look into both of those - I just feel it rather oppressive both in terms of space and pyschologically with all this medical stuff spilling out everywhere!

Happy organising! Hopeful if you get on top of all the boxes it will help you to feel a bit more free!

Or something like this in a drawer (if you have a spare drawer or 2).

Hobbycraft have a sale on Really Useful storage boxes at the moment. The transparent ones might suit? I'll try to link ...

Or these which can be clipped onto a rail (could you put a rail up on your kitchen wall?)

I was also trying to find those mini chest of drawer things that Ikea has - the wooden ones which can have either drawers the same size or of different sizes. They are fab and pretty cheap. Can't find the link though and need to pick up children now.
