have used a vileda super mop for years. my old one (with a straight head) broke, got a new one but this has an angled head and i don't like it as much. also, it keeps pulling apart the sponge end so am going through loads of them.

mops are vital in our house as the whole of downstairs is wooden floor. i need a good one that leaves the floor quite dry otherwise excess water can damage the wood.

any recommendations?

i would recommend one of these
a bit pricy to start but keep wood lovely smells nice and can be washed so no need to keep buying new mop heads all the time. you can get disposable ones too.

i even bought my mum one and she is obsesional about all things cleaning!
