Moving House - how to start and keep a tidy house?

we are moving house next week,i've (hopefully) thrown out all the clutter so i want to try and find a way of staying on top of my housework.

Have 2dcs 5 & 2 and one messy husband.

I just always feel our house is a mess and i am behind trying to catch up.

Is there a foolproof system where i can start again and my new house will be like that of a domestic godess Grin or am i just deluding myself Hmm

Get rid if more stuff! When reopening boxes, ask yourself do you really need it? Anything that doesn;t get unpacked straight away that you don't miss... Get rid of it Grin

My house gets better and better the more I declutter as it means that I am not just storing stuff, but I have the space to put the things I actually need.

Definitly declutter, less is more.
A place for everything and everything in its place.
Lots of storage.
Good advice that i should heed myself.

Everything is staying in garage when I move, anything that's still not unpacked after 3 mths is being skipped.

I have realised after many years of hoarding that the secret to tidiness is have less stuff
