the rubber seal of your washing mashine after each use?

I have to admit that I only do that before going on holiday, because I can*t be bothered as I wash nearly every day anyway...

EACH USE!

I do give mine a wipe with kitchen towel after most washes, it keeps the seal clean and removes pet hair, tissues etc.

maybe once a month/ when I notice that it's dirty

I found a slug in mine the other day

Once a flood I do it. I never bothered until I saw my MIL do it after every wash

Actually it was manky when I did it the first time - full of gopping, grey slime. Oddly it didn't smell whatsoever, but it was sort of greasy & yucky. I can only assume it was some kind of accumulation of detergent and stuff.

They come into the kitchen each night and slime their way around the place. I've tried to find out how they get in, but can't

I have never cleaned mine . Never even thought to. Maybe I'll start.

I wipe mine when I clean the detergent drawer - once or twice a year.

Haven't found any slugs in there yet tho

I happened to take a look at the manual of the washing mashine and there it says to do it after each wash...

I only do it if I know I will not be washing for a while and when I do the service wash, about twice a year.

I check there's nothing in it - I've found some cash before which was helpful!

I don't ever wipe it or anything though.

I find Lego pieces and pound coins sometimes. My dh cleans it out when it appeals to him to do so, but otherwise I just retrieve the 'goodies' (slug included) and get on with the wash
