washing sheepskin pram liner

I need to wash a sheepskin pram liner and the instructions say 40 degrees but says use Stergene only (which I have just found out is hand wash stuff . Can I not put it in the machine then with wool wash stuff?

I used Ecover wool wash and put it in the machine and it was fine

I don't do hand washing

I did! Used wool wash (same stuff I used on wool nappy wraps) on a wool cycle at 30 or 40 whichever the wool cycle has as a default. It came out really lovely and fluffy!

phew. I don't do hand washing either. Will stick it in the machine and keep my fingers crossed
