Anyone else got massive Ocado delay this evening?

Mine was booked for 6-7, driver phoned me at 4 to say he was already 1.5hrs behind, hadn't left the depot because there had been a delay to the delivery to the depot (or something)

called customer services and a recorded msg says they've got Distribution Centre probs so everyone's got massive delays.

I'm near Watford - who else is affected by this dist centre?

I had a phone call to say they are running 2 hours late, so to expect them at around 10pm.
Do you think we'll get any freebies?

Last time they were more than an hour late for me, they gave me a voucher code for a tenner.

There is a major problem between warehouse and loading vans.

DP called at 6pm and he still hadn't left. He started at 4. (He's a driver)

Drivers don't get told anything. They just turn up, get allocated a van and off they go.

My delivery was late - driver never mentioned it, got no phone call either - you would think "sorry I'm late" wouldn't be too hard to say!

pink, if you email customer services and say 'order reference 123456 was [however] late today, what are you planning to offer me?' they'll give you a voucher or something. probably.

Mine came at 9.20 in the end. And he commented on our 11 bottles of beer/cider and one 2pint bottle of milk

Mine is late today - wonder if they're still having problems . They're usually so good at calling if they are late but not a sausage.

So here is real reason why you all have delays quite often.
They are running there staff and equipment at full speed and still not fulfilling orders on time. They can do 140000 orders at full speed but need to do 180000 orders to show investors they are a profitable business. I have heard they have already delayed building there new depot by a year due to not getting the first depot right yet. You only need yo look at the share price to see what I'd going on. Was 2.70 then within weeks it goes down to 0.52.
