Surface wipes that do not smear ?? Are there any out there ?

I used to use the Cif wipes for my kitchen worktops and top of the oven etc and they were brilliant, brought things up nice and clean and shiny.

Now I can't seem to find Cif wipes anywhere, I think they have discontinued them for some reason.

I have tried many different supermarket ones, dettol ones, flash ones, and they all seem to leave a smear on worktops.

Does anybody use any that both clean and keep worktops shiny ?

I've never bought wipes before. Why don't you try just wiping the surfaces with a cloth rinsed in hot soapy water? I usually give the worktops a quick wipe afterwards with a microfibre cloth. It leaves everything smear free and shiny and you don't have to chuck wipes into the bin. Don't the wipes leave some sort of residue?

I bought some Method smear and streak free wipes for my bin.

Couldn't have made it smearier if I'd washed it with yoghurt.

Ditch the wipes, hot soapy water and elbow grease is the way to go.

I used to do the soapy water thing prior to wipes but I find a wet dish cloth hanging about my sink grim and it can start to smell damp etc. Thanks for the tips tho.
