Runny honey on a leather sofa?

What would be the best way to go about removing half a jar of honey from my sofa? Bloody kids Bloody dd1 getting into things she is not allowed. Bloody coffee being so yummy

I don't have any. It's all pooling down the back of the sofa

I'm thinking hot, soapy water?

My dogs have sniffed and walked away. Strange little creatures they are. If it was something they are not allowed they would eat it of course

Hot soapy water would be a good start.

Bucket of warm soapy water and several cloths to start with. Blot up as much as possible with kitchen roll or dry cloths first?

Change water frequently or you will soon be trying to wipe it up with a dilute honey solution. Good luck.

Also you will need to have a glass of wine or another coffee afterwards to recover. That is the most important bit of advice. :)

Or, give the dcs a spoon each and tell them it is tea time.

I may make them eat any I cannot clean.

Actually it if there is a literal pool then try and scoop some up with a spoon or ladle (but possibly not eat it or put it back in the jar) :)

I've managed. I think. That honey gets everywhere doesn't it? It was actually a lot easier than I thought. I had envisioned sticky honey smearing everywhere but not actually coming off.

I'm sure I will put my hand down somewhere soon and find more honey. I hate feeling sticky
