Looking for some advice on bedrooms, my husband and i have 3 children from previous relationships, all boys thankfully, one boy 13 lives with us permenatly, and the other two boys 12 years lives with us every other week and, 8 years every other weekend, the 13 year old has his own room, but it's the box room, as he is there permenant should he have the larger of the two room?

No, because the other two share, so they should have the larger room. In my opinion. However, maybe you should redecorate it for him and give him a few nice things in his room to make up for it being the smaller room?

hmmm similar situation here fenrir dd and ds with us all the time (our kids) dss with us part time my two share dss has his own room (box room) recently we thought about putting our two in seperate rooms and dss and ds share the big room as dss is not here all the time and dd have the box room so both our dc's can have there own room.
you could give the 13 yr old the big room (he is with you all the time there for in my opinion will need the space, desk homework, ALL his permenant stuff ect ect) give the 12 yr old the box room as he is there the most after the other son and then the little one can share with the oldest when he is with you(bunkbeds are great) do you see what i mean?

Have you posted about this before Fenrir? Sounds really familiar.

Not sure I fully understand but if two boys are sharing (albeit part time) they surely need a bigger bedroom than the one who has his own room (even if it is a box room!)
