Rug reccommendations for a house with two messy kids

We have laminate flooring, my little one is nearly crawling, and my big one is always sprawled on the floor with his toys.

I want to buy a big rug (at least 5 x 7') which won't instantly show up every single crumb and bit of fluff, and is suitable for kids to scramble round on.

Any colour recommendations, or rug recommendations? tia

We went for a big cheap brown rug from IKEA with their any slip under web thingy normally by the tills, as we needed something a few days B4 No1 arrived, never regretted it.

I've got a big one from Cotswold Co., which is made up of lots of different square, about 6inches square each. I've had it for years, it looks really warm and colourful, is very thick and deep (100% wool) and cleans beautifully so is still immaculate. I haven't looked on the Cotswold site recently, but the last time I did they still had something similar. I'll google for you in a mo.
