I'm tidying up and cleaning before the cleaner comes Grin

Its my first proper time with a proper cleaner coming this morning and I m whizzing round changing cot sheets and cleaning toilets.

Its the thought of being judged, but thats why I have decided to get help - so silly Grin

Very pleased to hear you've got a cleaner! I'm sure she'll still have plenty to do - I could certainly keep one busy for a few hours even after a full clean Smile

I do exactly the same thing! - as I don't want the house to seem too revolting.
But I tidy mostly, as then she can see through (some) of the clutter to clean.

Normal to tidy, and I squirt cleaning stuff down the loo too!
But don't actually clean :)

shes here doing it, so excited, she is my step mother in law so its nice, a bit strange, usually comes to visit Grin

I like your post, am sure I'd be the same way Wink. That said, I always imagine that if I ever got to the point of being able to afford a cleaner then my cleaning the normal bits would leave them time to do all the things I consider "deep cleaning" (or vice-versa since I'm not sure any cleaner would be happy doing things I consider "deep cleaning").

I used to tidy, in fact the cleaner very much expected the house to be tidy, she used to give off about people whose houses were a right state. I didn't keep her for long - to much of a Miss Judgey Pants...decided I'd rather do my own cleaning - so now my house always looks slightly grubby. Blush
