oil burner can i use vanilla extract??

hi i havent got any oils to burn but i do have vanilla extract in my kitchen cupboard, could i use that if i diluted it with a bit of water??

Great idea - I have no idea but if you can I'm definitely going to do it as I love the smell of vanilla! Went to a friends house and she had vanilla and pineapple candles and that was a gorgeous combination of scents, never seen extract of pineapple for sale though!
