Previous owners mail????

Just discovered this forum & am loving it!! I am a slattern with better intentions given we have more visitors since the birth of our babies.

Anyway. We've lived here for 10yrs. Previous guy used to collect his mail from time to time, then stopped. We have a carrier bag containing years-worth of his mail that has been moved around our house getting ever fuller.

Our twins are getting mobile so need to do a final push to get the house in order. This bloomin mailbag has been moved around too long cos we just can't decide what to do with it. What to do?

Bin?
Burn?
Send back to Royal Mail / sender?
Open & shred?
Something else??

The choice of my sensible head - the only legal option? I wonder if it'll still be there gaining the odd Xmas card in another 10 years...?

I'd bin the stuff you have and return any new stuff to the sender.

I would take the bag into the post office
