Electric Central Heating

Does anyone have this? Not with an electric boiler, just centrally controlled electric radiators...

We are doing up a more or less derelict cottage with no gas and are considering it as an alternative to an oil fired boiler.

Any advice gratefully received!

We have electric wet central heating. Live in an old cottage in a village with no gas and no room for oil tank in the garden. Absolute nightmare, terribly inefficient and hideously expensive.

Bill for last quarter £1500 and the house was a comfortable temp for about 2 hours a day for that.

Don't do it!
