My tumble dryer.....

DD used the hose to make an elephants trunk the other day & it's sat inside it kind of unravelled (not sure if she put it back in there or dp so I'm waiting for dp to get back before I tell dd off......)

Can I still use it without the hose & will it be ok? And, where can I buy a new one, do you know?

And....is there any way of using a normal dryer like a condenser one? It's moving into the bathroom for space reasons & the hose, when it has one, won't reach the window in there.

TIA if you can answer any of that Smile

Yours is vented and can't then be turned into a 'condensor' but you should be able to pick up at 'hose' from robert dyas or homebase...

Right, Homebase here I come..... thanks thebonkers Smile

You can get things to use a normal tumble dryer as a condenser - it's this kind of thing. I've never had one, so I don't know how efficient they are, but they're not very expensive, so possibly worth a try.

thanks exexpat, will order one of those to try when we shift it in the week.

Will just get the hose for the moment & stick to shoving that out of the kitchen window
