Mine are Cuisinox stainless steel ones, and I've been pleased with them so far (had them about 10 years). They were a bit pricey, but worth it.

Started a thread on here a few months ago re same subject. Lots linked to a Which survey which said taht supermarket pans were just as good value as expensive ones. Circulon are supposedly good and TK Maxx often has them in at ridiculously good prices. Similarly, look at JL and Selfridges sales - do good deals. We got a set of Jamie Oliver ones for half price (but returned as had Jamie Oliver written all over then Hmm) Anyway, finally got Sainsbury's own brand (their "posh" range) for half-price in teh sale. And, so far, v pleased with them. And if they turn out to be crap in a few years won't feel too bad at only about £11 per pan Grin

My last set, bought from Argos, lasted around 15 years. I think I paid about £50.

2 weeks ago I bought the Circulon Elite Platimum Hard Anodised 5 Piece Saucepan Set. I bought them from Boundary Mills in the sale and paid just under £100 for them. They're very nice Grin and I do recommend them. You didn't say what your budget was.

I did buy a small circulon pot from TK Maxx and it is quite good i have to say but i thought they were not dishwaher safe? or are they? it didnt say on the label so I assumed it wasnt.

Will look at Cuisinox ones too. Does the food stick to the pan? My mum has stainless steel pans and omelettes are always a nightmare...

The circulon infinity range is dishwasher safe. We have them and they are fab. Good non-stick, and because they are anodised it won't come off.

They are pretty pricey though. We paid £132 for a 5 piece set off amazon (3 pans, 2 fry pans).

I want to get the chef's pan and wok as well.
