hose on newish cat and dog miele snapped - do I go to miele or john lewis for replacement?

snapped in the middle of the hose-very weird
bought in JL last august and have receipt

Noooooooooo - I just bought one of these from JL after Christmas; don't tell me it's not sturdy

PS does the lid on yours (where the other brushes are stored) keep opening of its own accord when you're vacuuming?

well had success , called JL on monday am and thye put me through to miele
hose arrived this am !

and poledra the lid does keep popping open and is fiddly to close ...needs a gentle touch not my ham fisted slam

so all in all a success with customer sevice-hope I done't need them again
