Wee in and on leather shoes - how to clean?

DD has had an accident in her leather booties.
Is there a way of cleaning or do we have to say goodbye to them?

Just pop them in the washing machine at 40, with a slow spin and a teeny amont of powder

If they are hard shoes then ideally pop them inside a pillow case to save damge to your machine
