Rug doctor

I've never hired one of these before but I was wondering would i be able to use one myself? (e.g. I'm normally fit but i couldn't carry a floor sanding machine from the car to the house without help)

Also does anyone know if you can use something like stardrops in the machine instead of the rug doctor cleaning products?

If you can carry a sander you'll be fine. Don't know about the star drops but would be interested to find out as their own cleaner is v expensive.

Prepare to be horrified by how dirty the water is when it's been on the carpet

Sorry just seen you can't carry a sander, in that case Id ask to try and lift it in the shop before you hire
