How can I get double sided sticky tape marks off slate hearth....

Have had those cushion things on to stop DD hitting her head on the hearth & theyve left sticky marks the length of it.......help.....please.....

Try rubbing it with nail varnish remover soaked cotton wool.

Oil? Baby oil usually gets sticky stuff off. Wouldn't think it would hurt granite.
