Can anyone recommend a new iron please?

Hubby has promised to buy me a new iron as mine is to be quite honest useless.
What would you recommend to someone who hates ironing to make my life easier?

Mine stopped working yesterday, so had to buy a new one. Got a philips steam iron with ionic DeepSteam.

It was in M and S for £85 but they had it in Argos for £55ish[can't remember exactly]. It was expensive but a couple of friends had said that spending a bit more made their ironing easier.

Have just finished using it, and think it is fab. Shirts, jeans etc were much easier to iron. Only downside is its a bit heavy.

I got a steam generator one and it makes ironing shirts much easier and faster. You also dont have to keep refilling it as it holds more water than a normal iron.
