Stop chenille cushions creating so much fluff??

Can anyone help me how to stop my lovely chenille cushions from creating so much fluff on everything? I've got them in 2 colours and its only one colour thats doing it and I've tried washing them but they're driving me insane!

Any idea?

Wish I knew. Might try hairspray.

Beware machine washing, which spread thick fluff over all other items.

Ooh didn't think of that!

I washed them on their own - I really don't want to throw the covers out but I don't think I can cope with the fluff!
