I know there are a few firms/ individuals around providing this service.
Just wondered if anyone had ever used one and if so how they found the experience?

I think they are very expensive. I would prefer to do it myself (allowing anyone else to sort through my clutter would be too humiliating), I just need the time to do it.

I use my mum. She is great at decluttering, I am less so. I'll send her over if you are local ;)

I did contemplate starting a business doing this - but haven't (yet?).

I just don't know what people would be prepared to pay and if there are enough people willing to let someone in to do it?..

Someone on here showed me something like that. I think it was £75 per hour!!!!
I'd do it for half that! Grin
