i was just wondering if anybody would be able to give me some advice ive just spent over £100 on an amcor 18L dehumidifier ive read all instructions but still not sure what settings are best to have it at to soak up excess mosture on my big bedroom its that damp i had mold starting to grow up my walls so ive had it in this room for a full day now and its hardly sockin up anything at all

the machine says my room dehumidity is at 39 it have 2 fan setting one fast one slow i can set the dehimidifier levels to between 40 and 80

think thats about it any ideas how to get this to soak up water

It will work better if the room is warm - I think the moisture needs to be in the air, so it will not soak up water that has condensed onto walls, windows etc.

i hung up a load of washing last night and this morning its pretty much dry and considering it is all towels im guessing its helped dry all them
does this mean as long as ive washed all the mould off i can keep drying my washing but it wont grow back now as i have the dehumidifier to prevent anymore?
