Conservatory fairy lights

really, this is laughably trivial...

I have a UPVC conservatory that I don't like much, and given half the chance I'd demolish it and just extend the kitchen, but can't afford to.

In an attempt to make it a bit softer / prettier, I'd like to put up some fairy lights.

If you've got fairy lights in your conservatory, how are they held up? Hooks? Tape? Willpower?

Please enlighten me.

Mine are held up with blu tac! Blush I wasn't sure it would work but they have stayed up for about week now!

You can get little packs of sucker things with hooks on - I think you stick the suckers on the glass at regular intervals and drape the light wires over the hooks. Or you could put some along the windowsill, or in a couple of big clear glass bowls - I love sparkly white / clear lights in glass.

I use COMMAND decorating clips, they are amazing things. Just love them.
You can buy them in The Range and Homebase, mostly at Christmas time.

I just went to put up some fairy lights in ours for Xmas expecting to do the usual thing with blu-tack and sellotape Hmm but found that little round clips had actually been fitted to the top of the main upright frames - like little upside down horseshoes.
