Coat Hangers- what to do with them!

I have a huge box of unwanted coathangers having carried out a big de-clutter of mine and DP wardrobe, and have nowhere to store them and need to get rid!

Any ideas as to what I can do with them? They're not the kind of thing you can chuck out in a bin bag, or take to a recycling bin (are they?!) Confused

Ask the nearest charity shop if they need them. Failing that, a trip to the skip.

I've taken batches to a local charity shop sometimes.

Put them on freegle. You can specify that you want them picked up ASAP.

/me comes back to say --have done this exact thing and got more than ten people offering to collect them within 24 hours. I do live in a big city, though.

I am sure I have seen a coathanger recycling tub outside our local Tesco.

Thanks all! Think I might try thr freegle thing as i'm in London so might get some offers- although the weather might put people off! If that's a no-goer then i'll phone up some local charity shops.
