Where do you keep your ironing board and ironing basket?

I keep it in my bedroom and usually do the ironing when the kids are at school. I am fed up of it in there and want our bedroom to be clutter free instead if a dumping ground for stuff but can't think where else they can go.
Any ideas would be great, thank you. I will check back later as I am doing the ironing now.

Ironing board is in the understairs cupboard. By ironing basket I assume you mean "laundry mountian" which is beside the sofa in the living room. The theory is that I can just fold stuff while watching TV inthe evening but inreality the tower gets higher and higher until it falls over, we have no clothes left in our drawers and I have to hunt through it every evening for nappies and every morning for clothes. THen I do a marathon folding session and dh weeds out his shirts to be ironed while watching Top Gear to turn it into a manly persuit.

I keep the ironing board and iron in the airing cupboard . DH however keeps it in the study after he irons his 5 shirts a week. He NEVER EVER puts it away ... grumble grumble. Nothing else in the house gets ironed. I am just going to put it away now.Cue DH looking injured and saying " Oh I was going to put it away later."

Ironing board in cupbaord under the stairs - very annoying as have to move it to get ANYTHING else out, but do not want to have it on view.

Ironing basket in airing cupboard.

I do not know how anyone can bear to keep their ironing in full view of everyone in the living room - it would drive me bananas to look at it.

Board in the kitchen. Ironing mountain in the bedroom.

board hanging on two over-the-door-hooks on the back of the dining room door, basket in the dining room in the space between the sideboard and the wall.

Well - usually the board is up in the breakfast room and I iron something to wear while the kids are eating their breakfast.
