snowed in and bored want to do productive things! any ideas on what to do in house

Have found some great idea's about reorganising linen and towel distribution, any other idea's on nice things to do that are usefull, easy etc... I am soooo fed up ...

Emulsion the ceilings.

Descale the kettle and iron

Have a clothes sort out.

Sort out your sock drawer?

Stick photographs in an album?

Clean the lesser used shoes that are gathering dust

Sort out the herbs and spices

prepare thank you cards!

Shineyshoes, I couldn't emuslion a celing with no ventilation, I have done the kettle not long ago, I only put non tap water in Iron, clothes sort out sounds good x

I keep shoes in shoe crates, so they don't get dusty x

Cook a huge pan of soup and some cakes for the freezer?

Bake bread?

Do all the bits of sewing - hems, buttons etc - that you've been meaning to do?

Get all the way down to the very bottom of the ironing pile?

Have a long bubble bath with a deep conditioner for your hair and a face mask and then paint your nails - not housey but you'll feel better!

Yummy soup and cakes... darn it I have no room in my freezer, I am so going to keep this thread and print it off when it is finished for future inspiration x

This is my list of stuff I need to do, that I never get round to.

I tend to go around each room and make a list of things that need to be done in that room. Looking at it makes it easier to remember. I had a massive sort out 2 weeks ago when we were snowed in and will be doing more this week. Love a good organise! Last time I cleared out all the drawers and cupboards that get cluttered up with crap like the kitchen and bedroom ones, had a sort out of clothes and toys (ended up with 5 bin bags for the charity shop!) and sorted out the spare room which was full of crap.

This week I will be cleaning all my windows, skirting and doors, getting the spare rooms ready for xmas and new year guests and catching up with laundry.

It is sad how much I enjoy all this stuff

Ooh yes and I will be cleaning my oven and sorting the fridge and freezer too :)

for probably the 1st time ever i have an empty ironing basket and to celebrate i've opened a bottle of baileys.
tomorrow night i'm going to clean my oven.i cleaned out my fridge and freezer today and also my kitchen cupboards yesterday.i love decluttering.last month i put loads of bits on ebay and made over £300 which i've used towards xmas.

Go the full obsessive. Clean behind the fridge, freezer, cooker.

I've just sorted through mine and DHs underwear and sock drawers, filled a whole bin bag! How bored am I?!
