Karvol on leather sofa

DD (4) has helpfully sprinkled karvol on two leather sofas to make the living room smell nice. Will the oily sprinkles fade or do i need tp treat them with something?

We're going away for a few days so need to buy something this morning, if needed. Help!

Bump - I'm off to the shops soon. Is there anything I can get to help - the sofas still have spots on them.

Wouldnt have though it would be a problem on leather, as it is repellant isn't it?

I would use something warm (like an iron with several tea towels round it) and several layers of kitchen paper towel or newspaper to soak up the remaining oil so that as much as possible is removed.

I stained countless items of clothing with karvol as a child I'm afraid...

Don't think there's anything you can do unfortunately, anything oil based will stain leather.
