Talk to me about mopping

I don't get it. I need to mop my floors...

But after you've dunked the dirty mop back in the water, surely you're just 'cleaning' the floor with black water?

Unless you're supposed to change the water every dunk, I don't understand!

Hmmm. I must get a washable mop head then.
Normally I do ragged method of spilling some kettle water with some detergent, and come along after it with the scrub brush.

Kim and Aggie say have 2 buckets. One with hot soapy water, the other to wring the mop into once you've done the floor. That way, the smallest amount of dirty water goes back into the clean water!

2 BUCKET METHOD WORKS WELL.1 WITH BOILING WATER AND FLASH/CIF ,1 WITH PLAIN BOILING WATER. AFTER YOU;VE DONE ONE SMALL AREA WITH THE SOAPY WATER, RINSE MOP IN PLAIN WATER THEN MOP SOME MORE WITH SOAPY WATER.
