i switched on my vacuum cleaner yesterday, it came on v briefly and then died. Now it won't start at all. Previously it had been very good and i have changed the bag and washed the filter but still nothing. I will try a new fuse n the plug tonight but if thats not it, does any one have any idea what might have caused it? Its a sanyo sc something, not an upright. i'm loathe to buy a new one unless i really have to!

Sorry can't help, only to say it was worthwhile having an Electrolux repaired, and worked better than new, £30 few years ago.
