moths have eaten DS's baby blanket - help!

Discovered this evening that DS's baby blanket, which I made for him before he was born, has been totally destroyed by moths.

I'm devastated!

The blanket was in a box with other blankets and baby sheets, which I've gone through - I've either thrown things away or put them in the freezer for the next 72 hours.

For some reason, I find moth advice confusing (or maybe I struggle to accept the full scale of what I should be doing!).

Once I've frozen the blankets, can I wash them at a high temp, and re-store them in a thoroughly cleaned box with lavender/cedar sachets? Will that be enough?

I'm also checking the rest of the clothes in the house - having a throw out. But I can't freeze everything. Can I wash everything and put sachets in the wardrobes? If the wardrobes are cleaned and hoovered will that be enough?

I was also going to ask if anyone has an idea of what to do with the remaining wool, if indeed it is salvageable? I can't bear the idea of throwing it away for good. I should post this in the craft section too.

Thanks for your help.
