Washing machine door.....

wont close! I went to put it on last night (as dd was sick on her bed) and left it, came downstairs this morning and the lights on the machine was still on.

It seams to be that the door isnt latching. The last thing I need is my machine breaking so does anybody know how to fix it.

Please help. :)

is something stuck in the hinges that you can see? sorry I can*t be of more help.

I cant see anything in there and the seal around the door seems fine. apartfromthemold

Could it be that the door is no longer "in-line" with the catch. A while ago my door wouldn't close and when the engineer came out he asked if I lent on it. I immediately said 'no' as I didn't think I did, he said its a really common problem - and sure enough when I next did my washing I realised I did lean on it .

In fact it made me realise how much I lean on kitchen doors too ....... .

Lol shoppingveggie Its not that i had a bloke come out and he said its electronic!! Hand washing here i come.
